THIS COURSE IS FOR
Any Year 12 who is serious about acing their final exams, whether you’re an extremely high-achieving student or needing extra consolidation.
Almost all students lack a flawless approach to exams. We’re here to change that.
The Year 12 exams are more difficult than your previous tests. You’ll remove all the guesswork in trying to figure out what are the most important and difficult aspects of the exams. We’ll show you exactly how to answer the hardest question types found in the most recent Year 12 exams and prepare you for any unexpected curveball question.
We know exactly why students who have studied ridiculous amounts still underperform. You’ll learn the newest and most effective study techniques that will give you an unparallel advantage. If you study the same as everyone else, how can you really expect to score significantly higher? You can’t, so you’ll leave the course knowing exactly how to rise above the crowd academically with techniques our tutors have taught hundreds of students to great success.
You’ll walk away knowing with incredible insight and self-awareness of your weaknesses and preparation needs before exam day. We’ll teach you step-by-step what preparation must look like from here to guarantee success, and we’ll share why we see many high-achieving students underperform, despite working so hard. Then, you’ll know exactly what to do and how to not waste valuable time in your ongoing exam study.

John Kalyvas founded Aim Academics to transform the way Year 12 SACE students approach their studies. Each year, our team witnesses hard-working students spending countless hours studying, only to under-perform in the final exam, despite doing well in their topic tests throughout the school year. Recognising that so many students’ academic short-comings are due to inefficient study and a lack of a foundational understanding, we have endeavoured to revolutionise student’s approach to study.
We’ve helped hundreds of students successfully enter into their dream courses and achieve impressive ATARs. We are passionate about helping as many students as possible unlock their true academic potential.
This course is for Stage 2 SACE students who are looking to gain a real competitive advantage and excel with high marks in their final exams. Our courses are designed for any student wanting to reduce the stress associated with exam preparation by learning exactly how to answer all the common question types in each SACE exam while being prepared for any curveball questions. For any student that wants to better guarantee exam and ATAR success, we will teach them all the tricks within SACE exams and help them develop a bulletproof exam strategy.
If you’re looking to learn from experts in helping students succeed in an interactive and advice-rich environment, level up your knowledge and exam preparation skills based off evidence-based learning strategies, and finish the class with a very clear vision for what to focus and study before exams, this class is for you.
Each of our courses go for 5-days from Monday 18th of July until Friday the 22nd of July. By the end the course, you’ll walk away with an impressive bunch of exam-taking strategies, exam-level comprehension and mastery of certain question types found in the most recent SACE exams, and a super clear vision of how to undertake the remainder of exam preparation through Term 3. By the end, you’ll know exactly what to expect for the end of year exams.
On each day, the session will last 2 hours where our tutors will share everything that is most important for the exams and where almost all students, including high-achievers, always seem to lose marks. There is also a lot of opportunity to consolidate and apply your knowledge with our highly targetted exam-level questions that focus on the biggest misconceptions almost all students have. Knowing this can prevent the loss of tens of marks in your exam.
You will learn about every aspect required to achieve exam success. You will be learning a lot more beyond just revisiting the material. You’ll learn exactly what concepts are most important to know to smash your exams and where students, including high-achievers, are always losing marks. Particularly, you’ll how to spot the common tricks SACE puts in the exams. You’ll learn the most effective study and exam preparation techniques our students use, as well ourselves. You’ll know exactly what your topic weaknesses are and how to fix them and then walk away having a clearcut exam preparation strategy to take up until year 12 exams.
Our advice is much further beyond techniques than just ‘active recall’ and ‘spaced repetition’ and everything you learn you’ll be able to apply to your remaining assessments to maximise your marks for the rest of the year.
Each course runs for 5 days, 2 hours a day whereby our tutors will review concepts covered in the first semester, introduce concepts to be covered in the remainder of the year, all with an ‘exam-specific’ focus; how such concepts present in the end-of-year exam & how you should go about preparing. We provide students with exam-style booklets each day of the course, written by our experienced tutors and tailored to the course – allowing you to become proficient in answering even the most difficult questions.
Each session is recorded and uploaded for student access, so you don’t have to miss out!
Simply pick the subject you would prefer to attend in-person (or live on zoom) and watch the recordings of the second subject once uploaded.
